Just had an excellent meal at the Boathouse. They’ve had a really busy day (being Father’s Day plus a busy seaside town) but at 7pm they were still going strong and very friendly. Nice selection of drinks and food. This just run out of Sunday roasts which my wife was going to ah e but plenty of alternatives. I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. All round an excellent place. Nice ambience, good food and good drinks coupled with attentive but not overbearing service. Recommended.

Came here for an evening out with our little group for a hen do. Could have just been us but we felt we were getting awkward looks from a lot of the other diners, we weren't a rowdy bunch but obviously had sashes on saying who we were in relation to a wedding and we felt very much stared at throughout Anyway, the food was delicious and the cocktails! Recommend the expresso martini ! The sea food platters looked incredible ! Definitely a Cornish coastal vibes going on here !

Cornish Ginger Beer is highly recommended, Seafood sharer's variety of seafoods are tasty, and the bread that comes with it is also delicious. Fish & Chip portion is big and My daughters ordered two children's meals, fried chicken and Margherita, and they all loved it!

One of the best restaurants so far on our trip to Cornwall. Nice and relaxing atmosphere with great food. We had the seafood shareable and poached pear & blue cheese Starter. Both were excellent.

Absolutely lovely restaurant and food. Very light and airy. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The starters were super tasty and came out quickly. I chose the meat pizza and my wife had the lamb ( photos attached). Wasn't waiting long between courses and wow we were full. I've brought half the pizza home! Desserts came out looking too good to eat. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and we will definitely be coming back.

First of all we had a poor experience ( in a nearby restaurant) the day before so we approached this meal with some trepidation. It was like night and day, the food was fantastic my partner had the fish and chips, I had the lamb rump. Both were cooked very well. We chose to have deserts that matched the main. Front of house staff were attentive and service was fast and good. I cannot recommend this place enough. Thank you.

Food was really delicious. Good choice on menu, including for vegetarians. My husband loved the squid and the seafood linguine. Huge garlic bread. Lovely staff. Good atmosphere. All ways seem booked up.

Absolutely fantastic food; I had the stone bass, which was superb and really well presented, with wonderfully soft scallops. My wife, who's veggie, found plenty to choose from when other restaurants are just offering the same handful of dishes that others offer. Great service too. Just a shame we're on holiday as it means we can't come back easily!
